PROJECT FOR A DETACHED HOUSE IN CERVIÀ DE TER (2005)

The purpose of the project was to solve a detached house on a plot of rectangular geometry, 18.80 mx 38.30 m, and a height of 3m between foreground and background plot.
It was raised a volumetric which accepted the directionality of the site, seated on the ground absorbing the topographic slope, benefitting from orientation, prevailing winds and the views.
The house was structured in four straight walls that organized two interrelated parts. One contained noble spaces and other services.
Among the serving piece and served one there was an interior space with exterior treatment: the staircase, that served as the backbone of the project and the real life that happen in it.
It was a project that emphasized reflection on intimacy and connection with the outside.
The client did not accept it and proposed a more  “organic” building which was finally dismissed run.
